India Yamaha Motor Pvt. Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd., Japan. Established in 1985 as a joint venture, it became a 100% subsidiary in August 2001. The company operates two state-of-the-art manufacturing plants in Surajpur (Uttar Pradesh) and Kanchipuram (Tamil Nadu), producing motorcycles and parts for both domestic and international markets. Yamaha Motor India boasts a network of over 2,200 customer touchpoints, including more than 500 dealers across India .
