It serves over 460 million subscribers with its 4G, 4G+, and 5G services, and leads India’s mobile broadband market

• Incorporated in Ahmedabad as Infotel Broadband Services Ltd in February 2007
• Acquired by Reliance Industries in June 2010 and renamed Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited in January 2013
• Public launch began with beta in December 2015 and commercial rollout in September 2016
• Rapidly became India’s largest mobile network operator by subscriber base
