Software Development Engineer in Test – I (SDET-I)
Experience: 2–4 Years
Location: IBC Knowledge Park, Bengaluru

Position Overview
The SDET-I will be responsible for ensuring product quality through a combination of manual and automated testing. The role involves close collaboration with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver reliable, high-quality software.
Key Skills & Technical Requirements
- Strong understanding of API testing and test automation
- Hands-on experience with Java, Selenium, and API automation tools
- Experience with Postman for API testing
- Familiarity with Git version control
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices
- Experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA or Bugzilla
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum development practices
Non-Functional Skills
- Strong analytical and debugging mindset
- Willingness to deep-dive into systems to identify root causes
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- High energy, ownership, and problem-solving attitude
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in manual testing and end-to-end automation
- Hands-on experience with API automation
- ISTQB – Foundation Level Certification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field
