Role Overview
The Infrastructure Services Delivery Engineer (Event & Alert Management Tech Lead) is responsible for ensuring the effectiveness of DTCC’s enterprise Event & Alert Management (EVM) solutions. This role oversees EVM tools, manages technical project execution, leads the EVM technical team, collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders, and ensures real-time monitoring systems like ServiceNow and PagerDuty are optimized for reliability and performance.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee implementation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of Event & Alert Management (EVM) tools and systems.
- Ensure EVM platforms (ServiceNow, PagerDuty) are properly updated, functional, and aligned with organizational needs.
- Lead and mentor the EVM technical team, ensuring adoption of best practices and efficient delivery.
- Collaborate with IT, Business, Operations, and other departments to gather requirements and ensure EVM solutions deliver value.
- Continuously monitor and optimize EVM processes for improved system reliability and proactive incident mitigation.
- Manage EVM project governance including timelines, resource planning, budget adherence, and stakeholder reporting.
- Ensure proper escalation workflows, alert routing, and proactive detection mechanisms are functioning efficiently.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Event & Alert Management technologies (ServiceNow, PagerDuty).
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.

- Technical Documentation: Ability to prepare detailed process documents, governance artifacts, and job aids.
- Application Skills: Strong hands-on experience in ServiceNow, PagerDuty, and MS Office tools.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Ability to analyze alert/event data, identify trends, generate insights, and create actionable reports.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Strong communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting updates formally and informally.
