Role Overview
As a Lead Test Engineer in DTCC’s Enterprise Test Engineering (ETE) group, you will ensure that applications and systems across the firm meet defined quality standards. You will drive functional and non-functional testing, automation initiatives, and test architecture best practices. The role involves collaborating across development, architecture, and delivery teams to ensure highly secure, reliable technology solutions for global capital markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, maintain, and execute manual test cases based on user stories; track and close defects.
- Develop, maintain, and run automated test scripts.
- Ensure complete traceability from business requirements → test cases → automated scripts.
- Review test cases and automation strategy with stakeholders to validate comprehensive coverage.
- Track test execution milestones, report risks, and escalate blockers affecting timelines.
- Design end-to-end business scenarios aligned with product workflows and business objectives.
- Work closely with CI/CD and delivery pipeline teams to improve automation adoption.
- Identify and manage environment setup needs and test data dependencies.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of relevant testing experience.
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent experience.
