About the Job
Responsible for utility and machine maintenance, preventive and breakdown maintenance, spares management, and ensuring operational efficiency and safety in the plant.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair utility equipment, material handling systems, DG, UPS, air compressors, nitrogen generation, and electrical systems.
- Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance for machines (PDC, compression molding, winding machines, ovens, etc.).
- Monitor energy consumption, power factor, and distribution load balancing.
- Manage spares planning, budgeting, procurement, and inventory audits.
- Install and commission new equipment, including power, air, and utility connections.
- Implement improvements to productivity, process efficiency, and safety compliance.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 4–8 years of experience in plant maintenance in manufacturing or aerospace.
- Hands-on experience with utility systems, machine maintenance, and electrical safety.
- Experience in preventive and breakdown maintenance planning.
- Knowledge of spares management, budgeting, and inventory control.
Preferred Skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of energy meters, DG, UPS, air compressors, and nitrogen generation systems.
- Ability to read and interpret machine manuals, electrical diagrams, and maintenance documentation.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Familiarity with safety standards, statutory requirements, and AS9100 quality system compliance.
