About the Role

We are seeking an experienced AI/ML Technical Lead to architect and drive the development of our next-generation intelligent conversation engine. This is a foundational technical leadership role, responsible for shaping the AI architecture, model workflows, and scalable deployment of LLM-powered text and voice agents. You’ll work across the stack—from RAG pipelines and fine-tuning to multimodal orchestration—to bring truly intelligent conversational experiences to life.

Key Responsibilities

 AI System Architecture

• Design the end-to-end architecture of AI-powered agents including LLM-based conversation workflows, voice bots, and context orchestration.

Model Integration & Prompt Engineering

• Integrate APIs from OpenAI, Anthropic, or deploy open-source models (LLaMA 3, Mistral).
• Implement prompt strategies and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines for contextual and personalized responses.

Data Pipelines & Knowledge Management

• Build secure pipelines to ingest, embed, and serve tenant-specific knowledge bases (FAQs, product docs) using vector databases like Pinecone or Weaviate.

 Voice & Text Interfaces

• Implement and optimize multimodal agents (text + voice) using ASR (e.g., Whisper), TTS (e.g., Amazon Polly), and NLP for automated qualification and call handling.

Conversational Flow Orchestration

• Design dynamic, stateful conversations that can take intelligent actions (e.g., book meetings, update CRM records) using LangChain, Temporal, or n8n.

Platform Scalability

• Ensure models and agent workflows scale across tenants with strong data isolation, caching, and secure API access.

 Leadership & Collaboration

• Lead a cross-functional engineering team (backend, frontend, DevOps) to deliver production-grade AI features.
• Define monitoring strategies, analytics pipelines, and feedback loops to improve AI quality continuously.

Qualifications

Must-Have Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Machine Learning / AI, with at least 2 years leading LLM or Conversational AI projects.
• Strong foundation in NLP, dialog systems, or voice AI, with proven production experience.
• Expertise in Python and ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Hugging Face Transformers.
• Experience building and deploying RAG pipelines, vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate), and LLM agent logic.
• Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, or open-source LLMs (LLaMA, Mistral, Falcon).
• Familiarity with voice processing technologies (ASR, TTS, IVR).
• Solid understanding of microservices, APIs, and distributed architecture.
• Deep commitment to data privacy, security, and ethical AI.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Knowledge of CRM ecosystems (Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales automation workflows.
• Familiarity with Twilio APIs (Voice, SMS, WhatsApp) and channel orchestration.
• Experience with calendar integrations (Google Calendar API, Microsoft Graph).
• Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and AWS/GCP/Azure infrastructure.
