General Overview:

Our client is seeking a Test Automation Expert for core banking projects, responsible for designing, developing, and implementing test automation architectures and solutions across cloud and on-premise environments. This role requires deep technical expertise in automation frameworks, CI/CD integration, and DevOps-driven continuous testing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define automation architecture and strategy for T24 applications across modules (both cloud and on-prem).
  • Design test automation solutions for microservices and streaming platforms such as Kafka.
  • Analyze business requirements and system specifications to define test automation approaches.
  • Develop solutions for API testing, including mocks, stubs, and simulators.
  • Implement CI/CD and DevOps integration for continuous testing and execution.
  • Drive test optimization and “shift-left” strategies to enhance quality and efficiency.
  • Design test data management frameworks for complex, large-scale testing environments.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure test automation aligns with business and technical objectives.
  • Proactively identify issues, risks, and improvement opportunities.

Technical Skills Required:

  • Core Java – Expert-level proficiency.
  • Automation Tools: Cucumber, TestNG, Selenium, Rest Assured.
  • Core Banking Systems (T24): Strong experience with modules, COB testing, OFS, IRIS, and T24 Outbox.
  • API Automation – Solid understanding and hands-on experience.
  • CI/CD Tools: GitLab (preferred), Jenkins, or similar.
  • Containerization: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Development: Hands-on experience with Spring Boot or similar frameworks (preferred).
  • Cloud Platforms: Azure (preferred).
  • Messaging Platforms: Kafka (Confluent, IBM MQ).
  • Strong understanding of clean coding practices, branching strategies, and security scans.
