Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Android Application Developer to analyze, develop, and enhance mobile applications with a focus on security, performance, and reliability. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in Android development and an interest in mobile threat detection, reverse engineering, and secure app design.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze Android APKs for structure, components, and runtime behavior.
- Debug and troubleshoot Android applications to identify and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with mobile security and threat detection teams to support advanced security workflows.
- Document findings, contribute to improving quality control checklists and analysis protocols.
- Learn and apply static and dynamic analysis techniques in a structured environment.
- Support ongoing efforts to enhance Android security and performance.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience: 1–5 years in Android app development or mobile security analysis.
- Strong knowledge of Java and the Android SDK.
- Familiarity with Android internals, app architecture, and component models.
- Experience working with mobile features like camera, GPS, and maps.
- Understanding of OOP concepts, XML, and JSON.
- Proficient in debugging and using network monitoring tools.
- Hands-on experience with at least one of: Kotlin, Frida, Dart, Flutter, or React Native.
Good to Have
- Exposure to reverse engineering tools (e.g., Burp Suite, Frida, JADX).
- Understanding of Android security concepts—secure coding, app hardening, or malware analysis.
- Strong interest in cybersecurity and mobile threat detection.
- Prior experience in enterprise or app store deployment environments.
