Role Overview

The SQA Executive will be responsible for ensuring the quality of software products through the implementation of industry best practices, including Agile methodologies, CMMI, and ISO standards. This role involves conducting audits, preparing quality dashboards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance software quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Management Systems (QMS): Develop, implement, and maintain QMS documentation in alignment with CMMI and ISO standards.
  • Process Improvement: Lead process improvement initiatives, including defect prevention, causal analysis, and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Audits & Assessments: Conduct internal audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
  • Metrics & Reporting: Establish and monitor quality metrics, preparing dashboards and reports to track performance and drive decision-making.
  • Training & Awareness: Organize training sessions and awareness programs to promote quality standards and best practices across teams.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate quality processes into the software development lifecycle.
Qualifications
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: 4–8 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a strong understanding of Agile, CMMI, and ISO standards.
  • Certifications: CMMI, ISO 9001, or Six Sigma certifications are advantageous.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in statistical tools like Minitab; experience with QMS tools and software quality metrics.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills; proactive approach to problem-solving.
