Job Overview
We are hiring a Senior Associate for the Record to Report (R2R) team to manage balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close activities, and client communication. The role requires strong accounting knowledge, excellent communication skills, and hands-on experience with GL activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the client team for a specific region.
- Communicate with clients regularly via email and phone.
- Participate in daily/weekly calls to discuss progress and issues.
- Manage client expectations professionally in a client-facing role.
- Prepare and review system and manual journal entries (payroll allocation, accruals, prepayments, netting entries, allocations, etc.).
- Perform month-end close GL activities in accordance with timelines.
- Ensure accurate fixed asset accounting for domestic business.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations for assigned accounts.
- Conduct intercompany reconciliations including foreign currency translations.
- Handle cash receipts and cash applications accurately.
- Strong Excel proficiency (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, charts, INDEX, etc.).
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) is an added advantage.

Ability to work flexible shifts and extend hours during peak periods.
Qualifications
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce or Finance (B.Com, M.Com, MBA).
- CA Inter preferred (if applicable).
- 1–3 years of experience in General Ledger Accounting / R2R.
Required Skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
Knowledge of:
- SAP / Oracle ERP
- SQL
- Power BI
- Tableau
- Attention to detail and consistency
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities
